Manwell is a DJ from the East coast of South Florida, now planting roots in Seattle. With a passion for dance, soul, and funk music. Manwell began his DJ journey to share his love for these genres with the world. As he delved deeper into the world of dance music, he discovered a profound connection with deep house, tech house, and UK Garage. Drawing inspiration from the sounds of the early 90s to mid 2000s Chicago house and techno scene, as well as the current minimal tech European scene, he began crafting his own unique sound. House Sessions presents Nasty Noize

Hosting an amazing trio for the night will be dj Eddy, it’s a night dedicated to all things Miami bass, ghetto tech and footwork music.

Now to introduce the real stars of the show, the real essence of House Sessions: Nasty Noize came from the idea of these incredible djs all in one room, hailing from Seattle will be our very own, Exis.

Between the Lines resident Quarterdef sets the stage for the night with his left field grooves, flowing perfectly into Sherman C’s vinyl only tastemaking.

As the owner and operator of the worst kept secret in town, Selector Records and Tapes, Sherman C prefers obscure cuts, ranging from hazy deep techno and groovy house to minimal, acid, nasty breaks, electro and everything in between.

Closing out the night is beloved Seattle duo Apt E, offering a peek into the vast crates amassed in their insatiable search for tripped out dubs. Expect a night of carefully crafted grooves, with an emphasis on overlooked tunes from the past reinvigorated in a modern context.

From deep, hypnotic techno to vibrant, uplifting house, “COMPLEX” curates a blend of established DJs and producers as well as emerging talents, ensuring a fresh and engaging experience every time. COMPLEX also will place heavy emphasis on Black and POC lineups in the PNW and on the west coast.

Bimbo Hypnosis is a Seattle-born multidisciplinary and versatile artist. She formed roots in electronic music both as a producer and a party organizer in the late 2000s.

Her flavor and essence was, and continues to be defined by the underground. She is Suquamish, and has worked with multiple projects to uplift women of color in dance music including babexhouse and co-founding the PØWER rave crew.

Her style is rooted in classic rave sounds, with a nod to both new and old school club sensibilities, with a drum-forward focus on breaks and percussion.
